Is New York Able to Clear Airport Security

By Rob Sutter

It seems like we can bring yet another affiliate to the family of those that can clear airport security. Situated within New York is the Westchester County Airport. This particular place is important because now members that have joined up can use their cards here if they are keen on traveling to this state. With all of us nearing the holiday season and many of us set to visit families that live long distances away, there's no question that this method will be more than helpful in the long run.

This particular news story was first posted on the ABC News website and it's one that does New Yorkers a world of good. Being able to clear airport security is a great perk for many people, since the hours spent waiting on security lines can seemingly drag on without any end in sight. Companies like CLEAR understand that this is a hindrance in a world that demands. The system that has been implemented more than helps to see passengers to their seats, all the while shaving precious waiting time.

There are only four other locations in which the CLEAR process can be used. With qualified locations in San Francisco, Dallas, Denver, and Orlando, it shows that New York is now part of an elite group of sorts. However, I have to wonder just how much longer that sense of exclusivity will last since more and more people will undoubtedly take note of this system. It's one that encourages a sense of readiness, a quick pace being illustrated as people desire to board their flights faster. How many cases would being able to bypass airport security become beneficial?

I believe that my mother would find the most use out of this painless process since many of her family members reside down south in Florida. However, it's difficult for her to get to that point since airports are often crowded and getting through security can become a hassle. Even though she's generally patient, this became an ordeal even for her. I'm certain that if she were to use a CLEARcard, now that New York is eligible, the process would not be so daunting anymore.

There are many benefits that can come out of New York's qualification in terms of the CLEAR system. For one, we impatient New Yorkers no longer have the right to complain about long lines in airports since this particular perk exists. Yes, it may not come free, but I feel like it would pay for itself with continued uses that it would not matter much in the long run. You have to adore a system that can bring people from one place to another without the unneeded stress of security lines impeding your way.
