Being experienced and knew the ins and outs of the wine industry, they easily built their own vineyard and used their knowledge and skills in producing the best quality of wine that people will enjoy. They recognize the importance of the Livermore region, so they make it a point to use all the resources available there. The countless varieties of grapes that they use are made over into wine at their facilities.

Concannon Vineyard is one of the vastest wineries found in Livermore, totaling a yearly assembly of over 30,000 wine cases. They are more popularly known for their Concannon and Petite Sirah wine blend. In addition to that, they also make a lot of other wine mixtures such as the well-received Chardonnay. Concannon is presently a member of The Wine Group by James Concannon in 1883. It is always supplied the altar or sacramental wine for the needs of the Roman Catholic Church. Because of this, they have been christened as the California Historical Landmark.
