California's Top Wine Destinations: Livermore Wineries

Livermore Wineries is currently experiencing a renaissance in wine making boasting of vineyards located on over 5,000 acres with more than 40 wineries. Most of the vineyards grow the Spanish and California varietals. The recent winery to open up is boutique along-side historic properties which have massively transformed California as a wine making industry. Livermore is a region where there are so many things to do and enjoy and wine tasting is only a piece of the cake. Most of the Livermore Wineries even charge no fee at all for wine tasting while those that do have modest charges.

3 Steves Winery

When three very special friends came together while sipping and talking about wine, the idea of the 3 Steves Winery began. Being experienced and knew the ins and outs of the wine industry, they easily built their own vineyard and used their knowledge and skills in producing the best quality of wine that people will enjoy. They recognize the importance of the Livermore region, so they make it a point to use all the resources available there. The countless varieties of grapes that they use are made over into wine at their facilities.

Concannon Vineyard

Concannon Vineyard is one of the vastest wineries found in Livermore, totaling a yearly assembly of over 30,000 wine cases. They are more popularly known for their Concannon and Petite Sirah wine blend. In addition to that, they also make a lot of other wine mixtures such as the well-received Chardonnay. Concannon is presently a member of The Wine Group by James Concannon in 1883. It is always supplied the altar or sacramental wine for the needs of the Roman Catholic Church. Because of this, they have been christened as the California Historical Landmark.

Garre Vineyard & Winery

Encircled by natural topographies, Garre Vineyard & winery offers a very special environment setting for all visitors. Aside from having the most amazing sights all around, their wines also have garnered a bunch of awards from all over the country and are considered one of the top destinations in California for wine lovers.

Red Feather Winery & Vineyard

Red Feather Winery & Vineyard was built in 2005 and began by Dan and Connie. They make numerous wine blends such as Gunnar Cabernet Sauvignon, Jaidem's Dessert wine, and Livermore Merlot. Together with an amazing and warm wine tasting room, visitors will surely leave with a smile on their faces and totally agree with their tag line "Wine From The Heart". You can drop by from 12 noon until 5 pm every Saturday.

Wente Vineyards

Wente Vineyards have been setting the standard of wine production practices all over the country. With more than a hundred years of experience and excellence, the Wente family continues to produce wine with conventional procedures all the while embracing modern facilities to make the best wine blends in the whole region. Encompassing more than 3,000 acres of land dedicated to producing wine, it is not surprising that it is regarded as the frontrunner in the wine industry. Not only that, they vast range of superior wines are well-known in Livermore region.
